Francis Marion Hotel
Located just a short walk from the Gaillard Center, the historic Francis Marion Hotel is the official host hotel for Carbon 2026. Overlooking Marion Square in the heart of downtown, the hotel offers elegant rooms, modern amenities, and easy access to Charleston’s vibrant dining and shopping scene.
A special conference rate is available for Carbon 2026 attendees on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage you to book early, as rooms are limited and demand in Charleston is high during the summer months.
(Carbon 2026 attendees use Online Code: TACS26)
Academic Housing
The Carbon 2026 Planning Team is working on college dormitory housing for students, professors, and postdocs. Once we have that option to share, we will do so. Stay tuned!
To see an example of the dormitory housing, including a virtual tour, you can visit the College of Charleston’s housing page here: LINK
(Note: as housing fills, the specific buildings utilized may change. These are provided as an example of the provided dorm lodging.)
Future housing blocks to be announced as they are made available.
